Back in Tucson

Trip to Ontario and Quebec

I went on a 5 day trip to see audits of suppliers. We were in Mennonite country and saw horse drawn buggies everywhere. My colleague got a gallon maple syrup made only a mile away from one of the plants we visited. He is going to make "Acer" a alcohol from fermented maple syrup. We ate a lot of good food on this trip! Steaks, apple pies, St Huberts, and Thai. I finally tried "poutine" though did not have time to go to a really good place for it. It was still good!
Our evening in Montreal we had a couple "Caesars" at the hotel and then went to a sushi place. Along the way a guy was walking his ferret out on Cresent Street and we thought it was a fun idea to take a picture with it...must have been the drinks or we are just Purina people!

St Louis Cardinals Opening Game

Our Ingredients Group was given free tickets to sit in the Bank of America Club section for the opening game (free food and booze). Purina is also at a great location as we can walk to Busch Stadium in 5 minutes so we don't have to worry about trying to drive and park around there!
