Sunday Dinner in Driel at Anja's Parents House

Bottom picture is Anja and her parents. It was really warm last Sunday. We had tea our in their gorgeous garden. Then we had typical dutch food like boerenkool with spek (bacon), rookworst (suasage), pickles and pickled pearl onion and zuurkol schotel. Of course we had vla and yogurt for dessert! Her mother just made grape jelly and I got to take a jar home :)

The woman on the right of Geoff (blue shirt) is one of our program advisors. Geoff is our coordinator/mentor for the team project. He is from England.

Excursion to Heineken (not in Amsterdam but in Zoeterwoude)

First we went to Unilever (in Vlaardingen) and then went to Heineken. It was such a fun trip especially Heineken. They treated us very well. Each place had a few current and past European Master students working or just beginning their internship.
