Chicago for the weekend

Bertrand, Amaury and I went to Chicago for the weekend. I managed to see an old friend, Laura, from Tucson who just moved to Chicago a few weeks ago as a pharmacy resident at an ER hospital. There is a burnt boat and a car on a bridge because the movie Transformers 3 was being filmed. We tried the deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's, Italian beef sand which is Portillo's, steak dinner at Wildfire and brunch around Clark/division area. We also did the other tourist stuff like Millennium Park, Willis Tower (formerly Sears), architectural boat tour on the river (thanks to Emily's recommendation), a tiny bit of shopping along Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, and The Art Institute. It was pretty hot and humid but we still had a lot of good times to counter that!

Chicago looks really cool! I have never been there (except at the airport, ha, ha)!

Gorgeous photos! I'm so glad the tour worked out, I didn't realize I made such an impression on you :) Fun fun city... You are much braver than I am, lying on that glass plate.
