Epernay, Champagne The real deal baby!

I loved our Citroen! We got a bigger one than i wanted but worked out well.

View of Cramant, the village our bed and breakfast was in http://www.champagne-eric-isselee.com/

View of the area around Cramant

The champagne I LOVED. I wish I was able to buy a bottle but we had already bought two with limited space and funds :(

The dead yeast which has settled after careful turning of the bottles into the up right position

So cool lighting, I want this!

In the cellar at AP

Yummy salads. Rita had a Nicoise and I had a duck supreme with foie gras, magret de canard, duck confit, magret fume, and potatoes fried in duck fat.

The fancy collector bottles that would not even taste great if you opened them! I dont understand that type of collecting. If it taste awful and not good anymore, how is it worth thousands of euros??

At Castellane champange house along the Route de Champagne

The view from the patio of our B&B

Our french breakfast

Our room

My yummy fish dish at Le Grillade. I had a gaspacho starter with langostinos and cantelope also that was fab

All the fancy Champagne houses in Epernay

Our first visit at Mercier with a laser guided train in the cellars and then a tasting outside on the terrace.
